[Deploy 5-7-2022] Default address when sending emails

Background

For System Users with more than one email address, e.g. a personal one plus an Office email, Beacon will remember the last email address used to send out emails in a cookie.

There is an issue with Firefox and perhaps other browsers that means this is not working. The fix has improved the user interface hence this article.

Sender's emails

For System Users with more than one email they will be listed in a "From" box rather than a drop down list.

If there was a last used or last selected email this is shaded grey to indicate it will be used as the sender's email address for replies.

An alternative address can be selected. Note that this will immediately be set as the last used email address even if the sending of an email is abandoned.
