About this issue
If a member has a malformed or misspelled email address in their member record, they will not receive any email sent via Beacon.
While Beacon does validate email addresses on entry into the system, it is possible to override this validation and save a malformed email address against a member. This malformed email address will then return as Blocked when a user tries to send an email to that member.
What we're doing to fix it
We are developing a feature to send a monthly report to each Beacon administrator containing links to all member records containing malformed email addresses. This will enable the Beacon administrator to then check each record for errors and resolve them.
What you need to do in the meantime
No action is required at this time.
