The Membership Renewals main menu entry will list those members who have yet to renew and this can be used, typically, to contact those members.
Unfortunately there is no one-screen way to generate a list of members who have renewed - to email them to say thank you for example.
A one-off way round this is to create a Poll and populate it with members who are due to renew. When listing Members this poll can be selected and Negate poll ticked to show renewed members.
The above video goes through the following steps: -
- Log in as Membership Secretary (or admin)
- Click on Poll and add a poll called "Not renewed". If it already exists click on clear all assignments
- From the home screen click on Membership renewals then scroll to the bottom and click the blue Select and then Select All
- Do NOT click on Do with selected yet - you don't want to renew everyone. From the drop down select Add to poll. A -select poll- dropdown menu now appears where Not renewed can be selected. Now click Do with selected
- From the main menu select Members and filter by Poll > Not renewed. Tick Negate poll
Be aware the poll is not updated automatically so the above will need to be repeated as members renew or join. Make sure the poll is cleared first.
This approach can also be used to email members who have renewed and copy in other members such as the Membership Secretary or Treasurer etc.
